It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Rochon at the age of 42, in January of 2024, in Ottawa, Ontario.
Paul will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Mallory, and their two adoring sons, Henry (7) and Louis (5). He is survived by his loving parents, Pierre and Sandy Rochon (nee Stockdale) and his younger brother, Andrew (Lesley-Anne). Paul's memory will also be cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, his niece and nephew, and his closest friends.
Paul's love for Mallory and their two beautiful boys was evident to all who knew him. He will be remembered as a loving and affectionate father and husband, a caring son, and a wonderful brother and friend. Paul found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from cooking and gardening, to golfing with his best friends, to Father-Son fishing trips with Pierre and Andrew. His happiest days will be remembered with warmth and fondness, and his ability to light up any room will be missed.
In this time of grief, we celebrate the life of Paul Rochon and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength during these difficult days.
A Memorial Service for close family and friends to honour Paul's life will be held at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) on Monday, February 12, 2024, a gathering beginning at 10 a.m. followed by a Service in Beechwood’s Sacred Space at 11 a.m., followed by a Reception from 12 noon until 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Go Fund Me

Every time I think of Paul I remember his great smile. He was always in great spirits and genuinely cared to talk to everyone. This is such a shock to us. We will miss you, Paul. You get to spend your days with pops now, and I hope others can take comfort in that. <3

I had the pleasure of working with Paul for a few months. Couldnt be a nicer guy, I always loved sharing a coffee in the morning when we arrived. Hearing him talk about Mallory and the boys, or share fishing stories about him and Andrew. Paul lit up a room when we walked in, my condolences to your family.

I worked with Paul years ago. I count myself lucky to have met him and will remember him always as one of the kindest, easy going and genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure to get to know. He lit up when taking about Mallory and his boys, and treated my daughter with warmth and patience when she would come into the office ‘to help out’. Mallory, Henry and Louis, I am genuinely sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Paul’s friends and family during this difficult time. Paul was a wonderful person, and this is a loss for everyone who had the pleasure to know him. x

Our condolences from myself & the Xactly family. Paul made his mark the minute he began with us, and always brought joy & excitement to everything he did. He was always thinking of others, and will be truly missed by so many. We are lucky to have gotten to know him so well over the last few years. He’ll always be remembered.

The world will be a little less bright without Paul. He could light up the room with his smile, genuinely wanted the best for everyone and loved Henry and Louis in a magical way, and a genuine admiration for Mallory as his partner and he gushed at how motherhood was her gift. Knowing the community that Paul belongs to, the support and love will be with you Mallory, Henry, Louis & Family.
Pierre, Sandy, family, and friends. My deepest condolences during this most difficult time. May all your beautiful memories and love bring you some comfort at this time.
