Raija and I were deeply saddened by the news of France's passing. I worked with France for close to 10 years at uOttawa. She was a terrific person to work with. Smart, energetic and with a ton of common sense. I've always admired her dedication to family, her coworkers and her community. Jerry, Charlotte, Sarah you are in our thoughts and prayers. France will be sorely missed.

France was such a wonderful and welcoming person, it's been many years now since we have collaborated but she was an invaluable mentor to me in the early days of my career at uOttawa. My deepest sympathies to her family, friends and colleagues.

It is only now that we are able to express our sorrow and deep sympathy to you, Jerry, Sarah and Charlotte. We have been in shock with this news. France was so full of life and we have always thoroughly enjoyed see her, along with all of you, visit us in your home away from home. France exuded generosity, whether to send a card of remembrance as our family pet passed away, or share a meal with not only us, but all of the cottagers. She was a pleasure to be around. She will be truly missed. Our hearts go out to you, Jerry and the girls. We are making a donation in France's honour. Sincerely, Mark and Gina Ryan.
Bon repos!
