It is with deepest sadness we announce that Radmila (Savija) Omazic passed away at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus in the evening of December 31st. She was preceded by her loving husband, Dane Omazic, who passed away in 2020. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her daughters Danijela (Siv Pheng) Hong and Zana (David) Morgan, and her beloved grandsons Matteo, Noah, Luka and Joshua. She cherished her family, near and far. She was predeceased by her parents (Svetozar and Sofija Savija), brother (Nenad Savija) and sister (Milojka Cebic). Mama, we will love you forever! May you rest in peace with dad.
Friends and family may pay respects on Tuesday, January 9th from 1-3 pm at the Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Rd, Vanier). A short prayer service will be held at 2:30 pm, followed by inurnment at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a small donation to the Ottawa Hospital, where she received great care over the years.

I’m really going to miss her. I would do her medication pack for her. And every time she called me. She’d say hello my lovely and when we would end the call she’s always say how much she loved me.
