Lien-Tai Hung passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at his home in Ottawa, Ontario.
Born in 1932 in the province of Shandong, China, he studied Chinese arts & literature at Chengchi National University, with a minor in English as a Second Language, before teaching English in Asia. He immigrated to North America in the late 1960’s where he married Cecilia Ling-Yu Wan in Ottawa, in 1970, and had two children, Shin and Jane.
Lien-Tai is survived by his wife , children, and three grandchildren.
A private celebration of life service was held in his honour in Ottawa, with close family and friends in attendance.
