Dr. Vital J. Montpetit of Ottawa passed away peacefully on September 23rd, 2023, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Alison Sigmann, his wife of nearly 49 years, and loving father of their 3 children, Christiane (Paul Brown), Sandra (Nicolas Vanasse), Adrien (Laura Stewart), and also Marc, Madeleine and Michelle. Adored Grandpapa to 8 precious grandchildren.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday October 1, 2023 at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and on Monday October 2, 2023, after 9 a.m. followed by Funeral service in the Sacred Space at 10:00 am.
Your sympathy can be expressed through a memorial donation to the University of Ottawa, Advanced Medical Research Centre.
