John "Garry" Love

John “Garry” Love (Ottawa, Ontario), son of Gladys (nee Brown) and Roy Love, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17^th at the age of 87.

Garry was married to Beverley (nee Bell), daughter of Olive (nee Pinard) and Robert Bell. They were happily married for 64 years until Beverley’s death in May of 2020. Garry will be dearly missed by his children; Darlene, Cathy (Ron), Kim, Tim, and Mike (Melissa). Garry was a proud boastful Grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was also the dear brother of Shirley Walker (William), John (Sandra), predeceased by sister Ruth Deriger (Albert) and brother Reginald (Ruth).  Garry was an accomplished carpenter and house builder who helped many of his friends and family achieve their dreams.

Cremation has already taken place. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 29th at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa, ON) 1pm.  The family welcomes donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in lieu of flowers at the following link In Memory - University of Ottawa Heart Institute (convio.net)
