Passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 58, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Cherished wife of Marc Frappier. Loving mother of Phillip and Nicholas. Beloved daughter of Bruce and Beverly Chuck, sister of Lindis Rumball, David, Jeff and Brian. Beloved Aunt to Sean, Dave and Jordan.
Eileen will also be terribly missed by her beloved Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Bentley. She was happiest when attending gym classes, golfing, gardening, cooking, doing small home improvement projects and walking the dog.
A special thanks to the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital, Cancer Unit. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) on Tuesday, August 15 from 6pm to 8pm. A Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at 10am in Beechwood’s Sacred Space. Eileen and I covered many kilometres together at the dog park and craft shows. She was a supportive friend, and one of the most generous people I have ever known. She was such a positive presence in my life and I will miss her bright smile and her laugh. There are so many things around me that remind me of her. I wish I could tell her how much she enriched my life!
