It is with deep sadness that Christiane Courchesne announces the passing of her beloved husband Marc Huneault, on June 21, 2023, at the age of 56.
Cherished son of Hélène, née Marion (late Gerry Huneault), son-in-law of Jeannette, née Tauvette (late Guy Courchesne). Dear brother to Lyse, and brother-in-law to Claire (Pierre Rail), Carole (Serge Duquette), Julie (Pascal Gervais) and to Charles (Linda Larkin). Uncle to Carolynn, Dannyck, Gabrielle, Frédérique, Maxime, Jade, Simon, Camille, Caroline, and great uncle to Louis . He will also be remembered by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and numerous friends. He will be dearly missed by his loyal friend “Patch”.
Special thanks to the medical teams of The Ottawa Hospital and The Bruyère Health Centre for the quality care provided as well as to his many friends and family members who provided support over the last year.
Friends and family are invited to visit the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, on Thursday June 29th, after 1 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. followed by a reception.
In honour of Marc, those who wish may donate to The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
