Passed peacefully at the May Court Hospice after a lengthy illness.
Daughter of the late Susan Collins (Nicholas Connell), she was born in County Meath, Ireland. Predeceased by husband, George, son, David and brothers, Joseph and Patrick Connell. Survived by daughter Susan (Carol Ann Arsenault), David’s partner, Jennifer Halin, & sister-in-law, Ann Connell. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members in Canada and Ireland.
Her family is deeply grateful for the care and compassion she received from the staff of New Edinburgh Square Retirement Residence and May Court Hospice and from Drs Meera Chopra and Jennifer Brodeur.
A funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday June 13, 2023 at 10am at Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue Ottawa followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Dora’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Hospice Care Ottawa.
