I got to meet Evora in 2014-2015 at the Top Generation Club. She was always happy and glad to socialize. She raised wonderful offspring and I have the privilege of interacting with all of them. My profound sympathy to all her children. May you relish in fond memories of love and laughter.

My condolences to the Mackie family. I first knew Evora through the stories from Barb, then from my mornings at aquafit with her, then watching her guard the door at the retirement residence in Russell. What a character she was- such a sense of humour!
I followed her reading programme with Nancy’s class- what a joy for all involved. She was much loved by everyone who knew her and has left memories for her family to cherish forever.

Our hearts hurt for the family. Auntie Evora was a gracious and kind lady with the best grin. We will cherish our many memories and most importantly remember that we never say goodbye it’s just until we meet again.

I have wonderful memories of your mom Evora- from our days as kids and then again when she was at the Meadows. A loving, happy lady who loved to laugh and always had a smile and a funny saying for you. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
