Mrs. Anna Kwan Hing Wong (née Ho) passed away peacefully on Feb. 15, 2023 at the age of 83 with her loving family by her side. Anna was the daughter of the late Ho Lai Luen and Yu Suet Ying;  and sister of the late brother Kai Chi (Pui Fong).

Anna is survived and greatly missed by her loving husband Charles Chi Kin of 53 years; children Keefe (Catharina), Joan (Casey);  and her grandchildren Finn, Ava, and Liam. She is also forever cherished and remembered by her brothers Kai Lai (Bo Har), Hin-Yuk; sisters Angela (Sunny) and Tina, as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.

The family will receive condolences at Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, on Feb. 26 from 2 to 4 pm, with the opportunity for family and friends to collectively share memories starting at 3 pm.  At the conclusion of the memorial service, friends and family are welcome to accompany the immediate family to visit Anna in her new "penthouse” niche, (an 8 minute walk).

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Ottawa Chen Style Tai Chi Association or the Ottawa Tai Chi Chuan Association on Anna's behalf.

So sorry to hear about Anna's passing. She was such a fun person to talk to and always had a smile. I still remember my Nonna saying that she would wait longer at the bank if it meant that she got to have Anna as her teller. I can't imagine the stories they told each other, since I only ever heard a few, but they were doozies.

Big hugs (virtual) to you and the family.

Our condolences,
Jen, Mike, Alexi and Cassie

Joan, I am so sorry that your mom is gone and that I can’t be there for the visitation today. I am thinking of you, Keefe and your dear dad (Charles) whom I remember well. Hillary

Joan, Casey, Finn, Keefe, Charles and the rest of the family- So sorry to hear of the loss of your mom, wife and grandma. I remember Anna serving us tea and wanting to hear what was going on in our (and Joan’s) lives as teenagers. She was so kind. And watching Joan with her mom always made me laugh at their antics. My thoughts are with you and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be with you today.
