It is with great sadness the family of Norma Briggs announce her passing on December 16, 2022 at the age of 85. She is predeceased by her husband Dr. Peter Desmond George Briggs (2016). Norma will be greatly missed by her children Susan Pecman (John), Andrew Briggs (Véronique), and Alyson Bailey (Mark Palitza). Norma will also be missed by her grandchildren Louis (Zoé), Paul and Emma, Stephanie (Charles), and Sara and her great grandchildren Éloïse and Xavier.
Norma was a loving and caring mother. She never forgot her British roots and lived by the motto Keep Calm and Carry On. She was an avid gardener and loved animals. Donations to the Humane Society of Ottawa would be appreciated.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held between 1 and 3 pm on Friday the 3rd of February 2023 at the Beechwood Funeral Home, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario K1L 8A6.
