It is with tremendous sadness that the family of Major (ret’d) Marc Moo Sang announces his passing on November 22, 2022 at the age of 68 after a year-long courageous battle with bladder cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife, Denise, his cherished children Stefanie (Jonathan) and Isabelle (Ryan), his adored grandchildren, Mia, Théo, Fiona, Winston, Bristol, Maxime, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends. He was the loving brother of Marie José and Célyne.
Marc will be remembered as a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather, a brother, uncle and dear friend. A man with a big heart, he was humble, genuine, generous and benevolent who never hesitated to share his wisdom. Bon vivant, his life was filled with adventures and travels that he passionately shared with his family.

A man I think so highly of, thankful for his coaching and mentorship.
Having changed my life and perspective on many topics including leadership and the guidance for things such as drill, I will always be thankful for the praise when given from the major for it wasn't given lightly and that brought to oneself the sense of pride that comes with hard work.
Rest in peace Maj. Moo Sang and my condolences to family, Lucky to have had him.

It is with great sadness that my wife Kaitlin and I learned of Marc’s passing. I first met him in the summer of 1982 with the 2nd BN R22eR at the Citadelle in Quebec City. He immediately struck me as an outstanding leader and wonderful man.
I will always be grateful for the opportunity to have worked with him and especially to know him as a colleague and friend.
We express our deepest condolences to his family. May they find strength in his memory, and knowing that he made a positive contribution to everyone he met. May he rest in eternal peace with the grace of God.
