I am saddened to learn of the loss of a colleague with an exceptional sense of humour and wit. Peter was someone who was not afraid to present himself as who he was. I will miss the discussions on his reading choices, he loved the big, detailed, histories, covering many areas. My sincere sympathies to Peter's family, its truly a loss of a great guy.
