I am so very sorry to hear the news about Peter. I had the privilege of working with Peter over several years at OSFI. Peter was always a pleasure to work with and was one of the most talented individuals that I have worked with. He was always willing to help, had a never-ending capacity to offer new insight and perspective, and throughout it all, had an impressive and dry sense of humour (always welcome for an ex-Brit like myself)! I send my condolences and deepest sympathy to all the family at this very difficult time. I am thinking of you – take good care, Ben

My deepest condolences on your profound loss. In my time getting to know Peter in working with him at OSFI, it became clear he was an exceptional person. One of the most brilliant, sharp minds I’ve ever known. Always 3 steps ahead, and never afraid to speak his mind, with an ability to apply humor, sarcasm and dry wit with perfection. He cared deeply about the organization and his colleagues, as they did for him. He will be so very missed. My heart is hurting for the loss of a kind, beautiful soul, gone far too soon. My thoughts are with you all during this difficult time.

Peter was a trusted colleague and a friend. He made the days so much brighter at work and I loved his enthusiasm and willingness no matter what challenge we were facing. He made the most difficult things seem so easy and I came to rely on him a great deal. I watched him progress at OSFI and felt so very proud. My most sincere sympathy to Peter's family for such a tremendous loss. He was a wonderful person.
I will miss you immensely bud. Your inside jokes and laughter, that made me look forward to our coffee chats. I even remember our last chat and had I known then it would be our last, I would have thanked you for your kind friendship. So I will thank you now. Until then...may you rest in peace.
