Passed away suddenly at home at the age of 56. Dear son of Barbara and the late Ronald Welke. He will be dearly missed by his wife Katienne Champagne, his stepdaughters Amy and Ellyse Browne and by his grandchildren: Isabelle, Georji, Kaylei, Ava, and Arlo. He will also be missed by his brother Gordon (Leona) and by his sister Carla.
Cal loved his grandchildren and loved to be called papa Cal. Cal was a kind hearted soul and had a big heart. He loved to play sports when he was young. As he grew up he loved to watch sports. He became a certified plumber. He moved to Australia and became a certified Social Educator in disability services . He was very happy to return to Canada with his wife Katienne to start a dream business. He had a great love of gardening he loved to sit and hand pick the weeds from the lawn. He would plant the flowers for the bees and wasps. He also had a great love for all animals. He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by them all.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
