Passed away suddenly on September 27, 2022, at the age of 89. Son of the late Elias and the late Salime Saikaley. Beloved husband of the late Nuffage Nadia Saikaley née El-Zein. Loving father of Jeanne Darc (Elie Tohme), Juliette (Raymond Akiki), Simona (Ghassan Nemr). Cherished grandfather of Salwa (David Phillips), Kayla (Naveen Venayek), Joelle (Pascha Grigoriev), Peter Akiki, Nicholas Tohme. Proud great grandfather of Theodore Phillips and Sebastiana Grigoriev. Dear brother of Karim (Jeanette), Joseph (late Flora) and Josephine. He will be remembered by many nephews, nieces, and friends. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Daher, Mariam (late Fahim), Tamam (late Sayah), Albert (Adibe), Kamel and Norman (Layla).
The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday October 2nd, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beechwood Cemetery, Funeral, and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral 2975 Riverside Drive. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
