Thank You – 20th Annual National Day of Tribute

The Beechwood Cemetery extends its deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in the 20th Annual National Day of Tribute at the National Military Cemetery of Canada. Today, volunteers from across Ottawa joined us in a dedicated day of service to honour Canadian Armed Forces members and veterans. Through the hard work and generosity of landscapers, horticulturalists, and numerous volunteers, Beechwood’s grounds received special care, ensuring that the resting place of our military heroes reflects the dignity and respect they deserve.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the selfless dedication of those who share a commitment to remembrance and a profound respect for our veterans.

Nick McCarthy, Director of Marketing, Communications, and Community Outreach at Beechwood Cemetery, expressed his heartfelt appreciation: "Each year, the community’s response reminds us of the lasting impact our veterans have on us all.
