It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael John Metro Kowbel on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the age of 52.
Michael was a devoted father to Michaella, Nicholas, and Coral, and a loving brother to Richard, Matthew, and Daniel. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Michael had a kind heart, a sharp wit, and a presence that left a lasting impact on those around him. Whether through his hard work, his sense of humor, or his unwavering dedication to his loved ones, he touched many lives in ways that will not be forgotten.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 19th, 2025, at 1pm to honour and celebrate Michael’s life. Live streaming will be available for those who cannot attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
Michael will be forever loved and remembered.
