Passed peacefully at home in Ottawa, surrounded by family and love on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Madeleine Nobbs (Née Paquette). Father of Morgan Mawson-Nobbs (Richard Dowsling). Grandfather of Maddison Nobbs, and Jordana and Zoey Mawson and step-grandfather of Gavin, Oliva and Aleiya Dowsling. Son of the late Donald and Janet Nobbs (née Marshall). Brother of Cindy Andrews (Tom), Terry Nobbs (Late Branda) and the late Guy Nobbs. Brother-in-law of Irene Bent (late Lou), the late Sister Cecile Paquette and Annette Blankmann. Uncle of Missy Mantje, Mandy McLaughlin, Sheena Chyc (Jason), Terry Michael Nobbs, Stuart Nobbs (Megan), Christianne Delarosbel, Veronica Deriger (Dave), James Lauzon (Erin Sample), Robert Lauzon and Guylene Owen.
Family and friends are invited to Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), for a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by an Interment with military honours in the National Military Cemetery located at Beechwood Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Dennis, please consider doing so towards The Ottawa Cancer Foundation.
