It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother, Jacqueline (Jackie) McLean.
Born in Vanier, Ontario, she was the second youngest of 5 children of Joseph Leblond and Aurore Beauvais. Jackie was predeceased by all her siblings: Roger, Susan, Cecil, and Fern.
She is survived by her loving husband James Robert (Bob), sons Brent (Alice), Randy (Diane), granddaughters Katie and Emma (Emir) and grandson Michael, and her two great granddaughters Leila and Maya.
Jackie was a very social and generous person and loved being with friends and family sharing a meal and laughs. In retirement, Jackie and Bob were fortunate to travel widely, to see old friends made during dads 30 years in the military, and when back home, they loved taking care of their grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Beacon Heights Retirement Home for all their support.
A private memorial service will be held at Beechwood National Memorial Centre. Donations in Jackie's memory can be made to the Dementia Foundation.
